We’ll drop you at your hotel, already in full festival mode and ready to hit the beach and the night.

Note: The SGR train ticket (Nairobi ↔ Mombasa) is not included. It’s your responsibility to buy your own SGR ticket and arrive in time for the festival shuttle.

Opening Night Pool Party — Haitian × Kenyan Vibes

Kick off the weekender poolside with Haitian & Kenyan cocktails  and a feel-good soundtrack by DJ D’Cure and DJ Ricks. Expect smooth Kompa, Afrobeats, and coastal grooves as The Gentlemen bring high-energy animation—crowd hype, dance leads, and those “everyone’s-in” moments that set the tone for the whole festival. Dhow Ride — Konpa Cruise

Step aboard a traditional Swahili dhow and glide through Watamu’s turquoise channels as our DJ sets a smooth Konpa groove. The sea breeze, the sway of the boat, and the beat turn the deck into a barefoot dance floor—easy moves, easy smiles, pure coastal vibe.

We’ll pause in calm water for a splash: swim straight off the side or snorkel above coral gardens and bright reef fish. Then we raise sail again and carry the rhythm straight to Caterpillar Island, where the private beach party kicks off with performances and a generous Seafood & Nyama Choma feast

Private Sunset Beach Party

We’re teaming up with Marafiki Festival for a one-of-a-kind island takeover in the heart of the mangroves.

Our DJ will be on the decks, setting the vibe as you dance barefoot on the beach, watch the sun melt into the ocean, and savor a Seafood & Nyama Choma feast prepared by the local community.

It’s intimate, off the grid, and made for memories—a private sunset party you won’t forget. Drinks available for purchase.

PASKA Live at Papa Remo

Exclusively flown in from Miami, Haitian-Congolese sensation PASKA is bringing his electrifying energy to the shores of Watamu. Known for his magnetic stage presence and unique blend of R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, and Kompa, PASKA has captivated audiences worldwide.

Mangrove Eco-Tour

Slip into the quiet side of Watamu on a traditional dugout canoe carved from a single tree. Guided by local boatmen, you’ll glide along tide-carved channels at eye level with the mangrove roots—no engine, no rush—just the soft dip of the paddle and the sounds of the creek.

Mangroves are the coast’s life support: their interlaced roots shelter juvenile fish and crabs, anchor the shoreline against erosion, filter the water, and lock away valuable “blue carbon.” Above the waterline, look for kingfishers, herons, and wading birds; below it, watch tiny nurseries where new marine life begins. Your guide will point out different mangrove species and how local communities use and protect them.
